About us

Training facilitator leading a group discussion

Success Track Management started in 2019 with a simple observation: most management training courses dump theory on people for two days, then send them back to the same desk with the same habits. Nothing sticks.

We built something different. Our programmes run over four to twelve weeks, with short sessions, real assignments drawn from the participant's own workplace, and follow-up coaching calls. Participants practise delegation, feedback conversations, and priority-setting using their actual team and their actual deadlines.

Our facilitators have managed teams of five and teams of five hundred. They have worked in logistics, healthcare administration, financial services, and local government. That range matters because management problems repeat across industries, but the language and politics differ. We match facilitators to your sector so the examples land.

We are based in Kunzebury, Scotland, and we train managers across the UK, both on-site and through live online sessions. We do not sell recorded videos or self-paced modules. Every session is live, interactive, and capped at fourteen participants.

Our services

N

New manager foundations

A six-week programme for people who have been promoted into their first management role within the last year. Covers the shift from individual contributor to people leader, including how to run one-to-ones, set expectations clearly, and handle the awkwardness of managing former peers. Each cohort includes six to ten participants from different organisations so they can learn from each other's situations without office politics getting in the way.

L

Leadership intensives

For managers with two or more years of experience who want to sharpen specific skills. We run focused four-week intensives on topics like difficult conversations, strategic planning for mid-level leaders, and building a team culture when half your people work remotely. Each intensive meets for ninety minutes per week with a structured assignment in between.

T

Team-specific workshops

Sometimes a whole management layer needs the same training at the same time. We design and deliver bespoke one-day or two-day workshops for your organisation, on-site or online. Past clients have asked us to run sessions on change management during restructuring, performance review calibration, and cross-departmental collaboration. We interview three to five stakeholders before designing anything so the content fits your real situation.

C

One-to-one coaching

Monthly or fortnightly coaching sessions for individual managers who want confidential, ongoing support. Sessions last fifty minutes and follow a structured coaching framework. Common topics include managing upward, preparing for board presentations, and dealing with underperformance. Coaching packages run in blocks of six sessions.

How we work

Every engagement follows the same four stages. We skip none of them because each one prevents a different kind of waste.

  1. Discovery call — A thirty-minute phone or video call where we learn about your team size, current challenges, and what good looks like for you. No slides. Just questions.
  2. Proposal and scoping — Within five working days we send a written proposal with programme structure, dates, pricing, and facilitator bios. You review it, push back, and we revise until it fits.
  3. Delivery — Sessions run on the agreed schedule. We send brief pre-work before each session and collect feedback after. If something is not landing, we adjust the next session rather than ploughing through a fixed slide deck.
  4. Follow-up and measurement — Four weeks after the programme ends, we run a short survey and a debrief call with the sponsor. We want to know what changed in day-to-day behaviour, not just whether people enjoyed the biscuits.

What clients say

"We sent eight team leads through the new manager programme. Three months later, our internal engagement scores for those teams went up by eleven points. The facilitator remembered every participant's context between sessions, which made the coaching feel personal."

— R. Haines, Operations Director

"I had been managing people for four years and thought I knew what I was doing. The leadership intensive on difficult conversations showed me I had been avoiding half of them. Practical, uncomfortable in the right way, and genuinely useful."

— J. McAllister, Senior Manager

Frequently asked questions

Q: How much does a programme cost?

Open cohort programmes (where individuals from different companies join) start at £650 per participant for a six-week course. In-house workshops are priced per day and depend on group size and preparation time. We quote after the discovery call.

Q: Do you deliver training outside Scotland?

Yes. We travel to client sites anywhere in the UK for in-house work. Open cohort programmes and coaching sessions run online via video call, so location does not matter for those.

Q: What if a participant misses a session?

We record a brief summary (not the full session) and offer a twenty-minute catch-up call. We do not record live sessions because candid discussion requires privacy.

Q: Can you train people who are not yet managers?

We run a "preparing to manage" module for high-potential individual contributors who are likely to be promoted within the next twelve months. It covers the mindset shift, basic people skills, and common first-ninety-day mistakes.

Q: What makes your approach different from a two-day course?

Spacing. A two-day course gives people a lot of information in a short window. Our programmes spread learning over weeks, with real practice in between. Research on skill retention consistently shows that spaced practice beats massed practice. We have seen it in our own follow-up data too: participants who complete a six-week programme report higher confidence and more behaviour change than those who attended a comparable two-day event elsewhere.
